Provider research
Broker facts such as regulation, minimum deposit, spreads, platforms and demo availability come from a research database maintained from regulators' registers and each broker's published terms, and carry the date they were last checked. Prop firm and service facts are researched from the provider's own site and documents. Where two sources disagree on a commercial figure we publish the lower one.
Coupon codes and offers
FrugalFX draws a clear line between a coupon code and an offer.
- A coupon code is a specific string that must be entered to obtain a saving. We publish a code only after confirming it with the provider or a partner programme, and every code carries a start date, an expiry date and terms. When it expires it is removed from current-deal lists automatically.
- An offer is a benefit that needs no code: a free demo account, a free trial, a standing discount for annual billing, a cashback programme or a promotions page. Offers are described from the provider's published terms and linked to the provider's site.
Evergreen offers
Free demo accounts and similar standing benefits are listed as offers because they are a genuine saving and every reader can use them. They are marked as ongoing and are reviewed when the provider's terms change.
Accuracy and corrections
Offers change without notice. If a listing is out of date, the corrections policy explains how to report it and how quickly we act. A material error is corrected on the page and, where it matters, noted there.
Commercial relationships
FrugalFX earns affiliate commissions from many of the providers it lists. Providers do not pay to be listed, a commercial relationship does not decide how an offer is described, and a provider without a relationship is listed on the same terms as one with. Sponsored placements, if introduced, will be labelled as such.
Editorial independence
Providers do not review or approve content before publication. Requests to remove accurate information are declined; requests to correct inaccurate information are acted on.
